This quaint red sandstone converted cow shed nestles on the wooded west bank of Scaur Water in scenic Dumfries and Galloway. .
The cottage is set in its own wildlife garden secluded from the main house. If you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of otters in the river, red squirrels in the trees, buzzards and red kites soaring overhead while along the river side woodland wild flowers abound. Here you will experience perfect peace
The cottage is cosy, spacious and comfortable with central heating throughout and a wood burning stove in the living room. Children are very welcome and a cot and high chair are provided for infants.
Both bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms and there is a WC on the ground floor.
There are many core foot paths locally while the famous Drumlanrig Estate and Crawick Multiverse are 4 miles and 10 miles distant respectively. The Solway Coast is within easy driving distance and from the far west on a clear day ' the four kingdoms' can be seen-Scotland, Ireland, England and Heaven!
